The 1031 Series Mechanical Joint Plug Valves are constructed to ASTM A536 grade 65-45-12 ductile iron. The body and bonnet are Fusion Bonded Epoxy both internally and externally. The valve is pressure rated to 200 PSI with MJ ends that meet AWWA C517 Standard. The valve comes equipped with a V-Type self-adjusting packing. The plug is fully encapsulated with EPDM Rubber which also has a round port through 12” for better flow. We offer two types of operation, Travel Nut Actuator, and Worm Gear Operator.
